// 5x5: Lunchbox

{ product design + branding }

A portion is how much food you choose to eat at one time, whether in a restaurant, from a package, or at home. Food portions in American restaurants have doubled or tripled over the last 20 years—a key factor that is contributing to a potentially devastating increase in obesity among children and adults. As everything starts getting bigger, bigger seems like the new norm—distorting how we think about a serving size or the "right" amount.

As a way of understanding the way a person or a group of people eats, considered in terms of what types of food are eaten, quantities and when, 5x5 is a lunchbox service for those wishing to change their eating habits through food portions and reducing the amount of food waste.
